Never surrender…

1453, England

King Henry VI is gravely ill. A shocking mental disturbance has rendered him catatonic, and it falls to his queen, Marguerite of Anjou to defend his throne.

Marguerite has finally provided her husband with an heir. But her son is not enough to keep the wolves from the door.

Richard and Cecily of York are plotting to grasp the throne for themselves. And with the help of the earls of Warwick and Salisbury, they just might succeed.

With Henry’s subjects having already lost faith in his weak leadership, it won’t take much for another claimant to find success.

And Marguerite must do all she can to protect her young son’s right to rule.

As King Henry’s health worsens, who will step forward to take his place? Can Marguerite maintain her power?

Or will another influential woman seize her position…?

TREASON OF YORK is the first book in the Women of the Wars of the Roses series: historical fiction set in Medieval England.
