Emotive biographical fiction that shines a light on history's unsung heroes.
Hello, dear readers!
Thank you for joining me on this journey through history. I tend to wander a bit recklessly from the Tudor era to the 1920s and then back to the American Revolution. If you love to discuss all eras of history and the interesting people who came before us, you're in the right place!
When not reading or writing, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three adult children. A little lake in Michigan is where we gather for lots of laughs, good food, and fun boat drinks. They also travel with me to many of the historic places that I include in my books and write about on my blog.
Contact me about attending your event or book club. I look forward to connecting with you!

In the Press
A simply fascinating, comprehensive, and informative study, Women of the American Revolution by Samantha Wilcoxson is a factual history that reads with the narrative style of a deftly crafted historical novel.
I can't recommend this novel highly enough. It plays on your emotions without being insipid, it triggers a strong sense of injustice, and you will think about it for many months. A tremendous story!
She has a gift for putting the reader inside the head of characters who may appear to be on the sidelines of history but who are actually quiet makers of history themselves.
